Jimmy Clay Tournament Specifics -- Revised

Jimmy Clay pairings are now available.

  • CTGA welcomes New Members LEO AGUIRRE, RYAN SMITH, and MIKE ZIZZA, and Special Guest FRANK HINNANT to our Jimmy Clay tournament.
  • To those who didn’t sign up but your plans have changed and allow you to play, we still have room. Just send me an email ASAP.

 

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Jimmy Clay pavilion before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Jeff Jones, Kevin Lowe and Eddie Nunez will be the Directors in charge of this event. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

FORMAT : Medal Play

1st TEE TIME: 10:32

TEES TO PLAY:

  • 1st and 2nd Flight Men play BLUE TEES
  • 3rd Flight Men play WHITE TEES

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: No Carryover in either Trash Flight.

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES: 1st Trash Flight - # 2 & #12; 2nd Trash Flight - # 5 & # 14

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: # 4 and # 17.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Isolated thunder storms may be possible, but not probabe… and a high of 80. A great day for CTGA golf.

If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (444-0999) or Eddie Nunez (797-0566) after 9:00 on tournament day for status of play.

JIMMY CLAY DRESS CODE: No specific Dress Code specified. CTGA does, however, require all players to dress consistent with upscale course requirements.

They are a Soft Spike facility.

Lions Results

Lions results are now available.

  • CTGA welcomed New Member MARK MOORE and Special Guest FRANK HINNANT to our Lions Muny tournament.
  • Updates CTGA Stats will be sent out within the next couple days. Just haven’t had the time to get them done yet.

The Team of Bill Lindquist (83/78), Dave McGuire (85/76), Anthony Guzaldo (86/75), and Jeff Jones (98/84) for a Team Total 141.

Also, the Blind Draw Partners do not get a share of the 2nd Place Prize money. The $15.00 for each of the Blind Draw shares goes back into our General Fund for our 2012 Fall Classic.
