In addition to our Team Flight winners, Special KUDOS to the following…..

  • Chris Gowell and Michael Whitley with Individual Low Gross Rounds of the Day – 77
  • Although Low Net wasn’t recorded for this tournament, John Cervantes did have Individual Low Net Round of the day… 69
  • To Bill Bala and Chris Gowell for the only players not in the negative Red, each with “0” Chicago points for the day.
  • Closest Par 3 winning shots of the day in each Trash Flight:

1st Trash Flight:  Michael Whitley – 2’ 7” on #4

2nd Trash Flight:  Mike Zizza – 12’ 2” on #15

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 12:30 as we’ll be going to our starting holes at 12:50.

 

Scott Preece and Steve Barnes will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Sean Nunez.  Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

SHOTGUN START:  1:00

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:   No Carryover in either Trash Flight this event.

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES:  #7 and #15.

 

COLOVISTA DRESS CODE:  Their dress code is consistent with Country Club attire, so please dress accordingly.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST:   Warm and breezy with no chance of showers…at this time.  If it stays as expected, it couldn’t get much better for CTGA golf.  If the weather does turn bad, call Scott Preece at 512-422-1999 or the golf course at 512-629-4585 after 11:00.

  • ANOTHER IMPORTANT REMINDER….make sure you get your Roy Kizer tournament fees paid or acknowledge your Online payment to the Director collecting fees.  We want to acknowledge that all players have… 1) Paid Online, 2) pay at the course or 3) want to use funds in your account to pay.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
  • REMINDER #2….Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday morning at 2:00am.  It won’t affect our tournament, but make sure you turn your clocks forward 1 hour when you get home from Roy Kizer.
