Jimmy Clay Tournament Specifics

Jimmy Clay pairings are now available.

  • CTGA welcomes New Member JACOB VON ORMAND and Special Guest JOHN WILLIAMSON to our Jimmy Clay tournament.
  • Note our Upcoming Events above…..we have a 42 day break in our schedule until January 21, 2012.
  • Another reminder that Our 2012 Tournament Schedule for calendar year 2012 is well on its way to completion. We should have it out to all members by end of year.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Jimmy Clay Pavilion before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Jeff Jones and Kevin Lowe will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament questions or concerns to them.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Medal Play

1st TEE TIME: 10:00

TEES TO PLAY: 1st Flight plays Blue Tees; All other Men play White Tees; Ladies play Red Tees

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: Deuce Carryover in 2nd Trash Flight.

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: # 7 and # 14.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Cool…in the 50’s and partly cloudy with only a 20% chance of showers. If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (444-0999) after 8:30 on tournament day for status of play.

DRESS CODE: Jimmy Clay has no specific dress code. However, CTGA requests all players to please dress consistent with upscale course requirements. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

Roy Kizer Tournament Results

Roy Kizer results are now available.

  • CTGA welcomed New Member JAMES BATTLE and JORDAN MOORE to our Roy Kizer tournament.
  • Our December 10 event at Jimmy Clay will be our last for calendar year 2011. Early forecast shows clear skies and temp in the mid 50’s. Not bad for a day of golf in December.
  • Our 2012 CTGA Tournament schedule should be complete and ready for distribution before Christmas. We’ll keep you posted on it’s progress.

Optimism was low for us getting our round in yesterday, but we persevered and as the day progressed, the rain not only left us, but we even saw glimpses of the sun at times. Only 2 scheduled players decided the threat of rain was too much.

We thank all who played for being there yesterday.
