Jimmy Clay Results

Jimmy Clay results are now available.

  • CTGA welcomed Returning New Member TYLER HAUSMANN, New Members RUSTY HELTON, DAVID JACQUET, WES LYNCH, and PATRICK SPEIR, and Special Guests JUDY ALLOWAY, PAUL WANG and SHANNON WESTFALL to our Jimmy Clay tournament.
  • A nice pair of sun glasses was left at the Jimmy Clay pavilion after play yesterday.   Let me know who they belong to so I can get them back to you.
  • Pace of Play was monitored yesterday by both the Jimmy Clay Player Assistant and Steve Hammond, Head Golf Pro.  Steve met with us as our tournament was winding down and complemented CTGA on our member commitment to efforts to play within acceptable time, and apologized for the 15+ minutes delay in getting CTGA started.
  • Another reminder of the correction on the date of our Shadow Glen tournament. This event will be on Sunday, August 23 with a 10:30 Tee Time start and not Saturday, August 22.  I apologize for the initial schedule error

JIMMY CLAY TOURNAMENT RESULTS

With 88 players (23 4-Player Teams), our Jimmy Clay tournament was the largest field of players in the past 10 years.  It’s unfortunate that we had to lose 4 players due to conflicts that prevented us from topping a 92 player field

Congratulations to our Jimmy Clay Team Flight winners…..

1st Flight:   The Team of Helen Friar, Julie Torres, AJ Ju and Eddie Nunez (Net 128 for a Team Net 16 Under Par)

2nd Flight:  The Team of John Lawless, Bill Thomas, Mike Ryther, and Kevin LaVoie (Net 127 for a Team Net 17 Under Par)

Also, special Kudos to….

  • Landon Wolf with Low Individual Gross Rounds of the Day – 70
  • Joel Ware with Low Individual Net Rounds the Day – 64
  • Flight 2 Winners with the Low Team Net Score of 127 and 17 Under Par
  • Closest Par 3 shots of the day:

1st Trash Flight:  Josh Johnson – 8’ 5” on #2

2nd Trash Flight:  Molly Powers - 3’ 0” on #5

  • To the 11 players with Deuces who shared in the very large 1st Deuce Flight Carryover Pot.
  • AND FINALLY…..AGAIN TO ALL CTGA PLAYERS FOR OUR OUTSTANDING effort to play collectively play within a 4:40 Pace of Play!!
