Riverside Tournament Results

Riverside results are now available.

We have 2 tournaments remaining prior to our Fall Classic….see above.  Both are regular Medal Play format events as well as the elimination rounds of our FedEx Cup Playoffs.   Note the following:

  • When you enter either or both of these events, you are entering to play in the Medal Play competition;
  • The FedEx Cup Playoff round is added to this event;
  • If you have qualified and will be participating in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, PLEASE let us know when you sign up Online or send a quick email to confirm;
  • There is no added cost to compete in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

 

We will be sending out more information on the FedEx cup Playoffs and the Fall Classic within the next several days.

1st Trash Flight:   Brad Crandall – 6’ 10” on # 5

2nd Trash Flight:   Mike Ryther - 5’ 4” #3 and Bill Ricker – 5’ 5” on #104

  • Wendy Villegas for the only Deuce in the 1st Trash Flight

Legends results are now available.

Riverside is the last tournament before the start of our 2016 FedEx Cup Playoff, which begins at Jimmy Clay on Sunday, September 18.  Guidelines and logistics for our Playoffs will be sent out this week.  Remember, when you sign up for Jimmy Clay, make sure you include, in the Comment Box at the bottom of the Online Signup, if you also will be competing in the Playoffs.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play by 8:00 as we’ll be going to our starting holes at 8:25.

Scott Preece and Steve Barnes will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

SHOTGUN START:  8:30

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:   No Carryover in either Trash Flight this event.

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #6 & #13;    2nd Trash Flight - #2 & #16

 

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES:  #8 and #13.

 

STARCKE PARK DRESS CODE:  No specific dress code….however, we ask all players to dress consistent with Country Club attire.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

SUNDAY WEATHER FORECAST:        COOL, in the low 70’s at tee time.  Early forecast shows a chance of rain, but we’re hoping that will dissipate as the week goes on.  If the weather turns bad, call Eddie (512-797-0566) after 7:00 for status of play.

(Note:  Coming South on River Drive (Hwy 123 Business), if you cross the Guadalupe River bridge, you’ve gone too far.)

It’s at least an hour drive from Ben White in Austin to Starcke Park, so make sure you leave early enough to be there on time.
