CTGA Cup finals participants.

 

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play by 7:30 as we’ll be going to our starting holes at 7:55.

 

Steve Barnes, Scott Preece and John Vayo will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez.  Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

 

We may request assistance from a few members to help us post all Saturday and Sunday results.  If we do, we thank you in advance for your assistance.

 

FORMAT:  Medal Play (and FedEx Cup Round 1 Finals)

 

SHOTGUN START:  8:00 …… both days

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:   No Carryover in either Trash Flight this event.

 

TEES TO PLAY:  See attached Pairing Sheet

 

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #2 & #10;    2nd Trash Flight - #5 & #16

 

CTGA CHALLENGE HOLES:  #6 and #14.

 

COWAN CREEK DRESS CODE:  They do have a dress code consistent with Country Club attire.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST:  COOL, in the low 60’s at tee time both days.  It looks like CTGA will finally have a “PERFECT WEEKEND” for our Fall Classic.  If the weather turns bad, call Eddie Nunez (512-797-0566) after 7:00 for status of play.

Roy Kizer Tournament Specifics

Roy Kizer pairings are now available.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

FORMAT:  Medal Play

 

1st TEE TIME:  8:00

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:  There is no Carryover in either Trash Flight this event.

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #4 & #13;    2nd Trash Flight - #8 & #15

 

CTGA CHALLENGE HOLES:  #2 and #18.

 

REMINDER:  Please monitor your play time by staying within a reasonable and acceptable distance behind the foursome in front.  We really don’t want to penalize anyone for excessive slow play.

 

Roy Kizer has no specific dress code, however, CTGA requests all players to dress consistent with upscale country club code.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST:   78° at our first tee time and around 92º by our final foursome finish time.  We’re hoping for a combination of sunshine and light cloud cover.  If the weather turns bad, call Eddie after 7:00 Saturday morning (512-797-0566) as he’ll be in touch with the course by then.
