Onion Creek Tournament SpecificsOnion Creek pairings are now available.
All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Onion Creek Pro Shop before the start of play. This event is a Shotgun start. All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 11:45 as they will be sending us to our starting holes at 11:50. Kevin Lowe and Eddie Nunez will be the Directors in charge of this event. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them. FORMAT : Medal Play SHOTGUN START: 12:00 TEES TO PLAY:
LADIES play FORWARD TEES TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: Carry-Over in the 1st Deuce Flight. Please review the attached Carryover sheet. CLOSE TO PIN HOLES: 1st Trash Flight - # 8 & #17; 2nd Trash Flight - # 6 & # 11 KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: # 3 and # 11. THURSDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Today the forecast for Thursday is clear skies and a high of 79. A great day for a great golf course. If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (282-2162) or Eddie Nunez (797-0566) after 11:00 on tournament day for status of play. DRESS CODE: Again, dress code requirements: Onion Creek Club does not allow denim on the golf course or the driving range. Men are required to wear collared shirt, tucked in. They are a Soft Spike facilities. |

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. Eddie Nunez will be the Director in charge of this even. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to him. FORMAT : MEDAL PLAY SHOTGUN START: 8:00 TEES TO PLAY: 1st Flight Men play BLUE TEES 2nd & 3rd Flight Men play WHITE TEES Ladies play RED TEES TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: Big Carryover in 1st Duece Flight CLOSE TO PIN HOLES: 1st Trash Flight - # 4 & #17; 2nd Trash Flight - # 8 & # 13 KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: # 9 and # 14. SUNDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Doesn’t look good, but who can trust an Austin weatherman. If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (262-5555) after 7:00 on tournament day for status of play.
