Avery Ranch Tournament Specifics Avery Ranch pairings are now available. All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at Avery Ranch before the start of play. All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. Jeff Jones and Eddie Nunez will be the Directors in charge of this event. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them. FORMAT : Medal Play 1st TEE TIME: 1:02 TEES TO PLAY: 1st Flight Men play GOLD TEES 2nd and 3rd Flight Men play BLUE TEES Ladies play GREEN TEES TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: No Carryover in either Trash Flight. CLOSE TO PIN HOLES: 1st Trash Flight - # 6 & #11; 2nd Trash Flight - # 8 & # 17 KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: # 5 and # 11. TUESDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Calls for ideal conditions….high of 83 with sunshine all day. A great day for CTGA golf. However, if the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (248-2442) or Eddie Nunez (797-0566) after 11:00 on tournament day for status of play. AVERY RANCH DRESS CODE: Taken directly from the Avery Ranch contract: Participants are required to adhere to the following Dress Code: Men must wear collared shirts, no logo or words. Jimmy Clay Tournament Results Jimmy Clay results are now available. CTGA welcomed New Members LEO AGUIRRE and MIKE ZIZZA and returning Special Guest FRANK HINNANT to our Jimmy Clay tournament. Our Pace of Play on Saturday was excellent. First CTGA group finished in 4:08 and our last group finished in 4:36. Great job everyone. We found it necessary to go back to 3 Flights instead of 4 at Jimmy Clay. We had a couple of players who had to cancel and that left us with too few players in one Flight. Another reminder that our next tournament at Avery Ranch is on TUESDAY, APRIL 24 and the Signup Deadline is WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18. Congratulations to our Jimmy Clay Winners…. 1st Flight: Zach Sewill (69/64), one of the best CTGA rounds of 2012. 2nd Flight: Joe Gimenez (85/71) 3rd Flight: Brian Newsom (87/66), another great round. Also Congratulations to….. Zach Sewill again for his sub-par gross round of 69. Ryan Brady for the only Deuce in the 1st Deuce Flight…..and JD Elkins for the only Deuce in the 2nd Deuce Flight.
